Postie & PostieX
Send or receive command line email (Postie) or directly from any program (PostieX). An extensive set of options lets you customize every aspect of the process. Send plain-text or HTML messages and receive via POP3 or IMAP. Add attachments and inline images.
Inframail
The original Inframail server (SMTP+POP+IMAP) is no longer available for new users, but for existing users the latest release is 8.20 of March 25, 2011.
Custard
Custard is a nosql distributed database. It is disk-based (uses SQLite or similar). It supports live replication and failover, redundancy and sharding. It makes available low-latency, high throughput data streams combined with persistent storage and publish-subscribe semantics. It supports batch (atomic) updates, key-value storage, time-series processing and wildcard (regex) searches.
